Thursday is GURPSDay, and here's the 7:30am pull. We've got Kickstarter and lots of topical Dungeon Fantasy. An interview with Sean Punch. Integrating customized martial arts into games. Pyramid issue review. And more. And it's only 7:30am.

Thursday is GURPSDay, and a happy day it is. The DF Kickstarter fully funded and is now smashing stretch goals, and though we seem to have had a bit of a light week for posts, there's a lot of good stuff out there, especially in the GURPS forums. Go check it all out!

GURPS Day Summary Sept 16 - Sept 22, 2016

Thursday is GURPSDay. We're entering the last day of the Dungeon Fantasy Kickstarter. It fully funded during Day 16, about four days ago, and is still going strong. It looks to be pushing to around $155,000 plus another $30K from W23 sales, which gives us the 180,000 stretch goal of a month of Pyramid (one issue) for all backers above $50.

Below you can find the blog activity for the last 10-25 posts for every blog that has posted. This is a lot of posts - the GURPS blogging community has picked up rather a lot of steam recently, a phenomenon I hope that GURPSDay has helped with to a small degree.

I can only offer this exhortation: back the Kickstarter. Blog more. Create more. Refine your writing technique and participate in the community-driven submission process that is writing for SJG. They're a tough crowd, and their standards are high. But if you can write for them, you can probably write for anyone.

Even yourself.

GURPS Day Summary April 29- May 5, 2016

GURPSDay is going well. We routinely hit between 40 and 60 posts from 39 blogs in any given week (with T Bone's GURPS Diner stubbornly resisting all attempts to wget the hell out of its content).

But it could be more. Because I know there are more people playing and writing about GURPS, even occasionally.

So this is a challenge and an invitation.

Thursday is GURPSDay, and we're back into the swing of things

The links below represent an incomplete pull. The RSS feeds were pretty light as of 7:30am this morning.

We have a few new blogs on the rolls, but I'm not sure if we've got them all straightened out yet. Everyone needs to tag their posts GURPS to get included in the script, and that may or may not have been done.

May is GURPSDay recruiting month. I'm hoping to more than double the number of blogs we pull from over the next 6 weeks (faster would be better!). I've already received two new blogs, though only one is reflected below because I need a few more details from the second blog's author. But . . . if you blog about GURPS with any regularity, adding your blog to the script is easy, free, and can only help your traffic.
