OK my first question is kinda simple, Nymph's get the Universal Enhancement to their Apperance, but from what I can see they don't need it, that Enhancement works by saying that your looks affect people not of your race, but that seems to be the norm for DF, so in effect Nymph's are forced to pay extra as everyone seems to be attracted to everyone in DF. I mean there might be exceptions, but they're probably pretty rare.
The second one is harder, but possibly more interesting. I recently read this sentence "The stories about nymphs that can merge with brooks, trees, and so on..." And misread brooks as books and thought to my self 'That's probably playable, you'd have to get someone to carry you around, probably someone enthralled by you.' For this I'm thinking the Nymph would have No Legs (Portable) from THS:CT and an Ally with Minion and Slave Mentality, is that valid and is there anything I'm missing? |

I believe this quote says is best:
"Your Nymph Bard is so hot, she even gets hit on by slime molds." |

Her tree got pulped for paper, if so she may have more than one book.
Just picture a mage unfurling a recently picked up scroll during a fight with said nymph and her fist comes out of the scroll.

Also I'm pretty sure race still matters in Dungeon Fantasy. If you look at the Fantasy book on (P.130) it talks about appearances. I remember in another book it gives a good rule of thumb that you should use physiology modifiers for races when such things come up (B.181). So you're probably looking at -2 modifier most likely for interracial mingling. Maybe people DO think Elves are attractive, but it might be taboo. Universal would probably mitigate this. Even if Dungeon Fantasy doesn't say this directly, I'd still probably apply it. After all, half-races aren't everywhere for a reason. On the second question, I don't know why you'd give the Nymph no legs? They can still walk, they're just being carried about. Otherwise the Ally I'd probably remove slave mentality. This would clearly be the +50% version. Slave Mentality generally figures they can't do anything without your direction. The +50% means they can still act but are utterly loyal. It lists "Awe" as being a reason for the +50% which Transcendence in appearance can certainly inspire.

Humans, elves, and orcs seem to find each other roughly attractive to each other by their stated values along a spectrum. Nymphs are hot to cat-folk, coleopterans, dark ones, and trolls who would otherwise not care.

You do realize this means that Coleopterans and Trolls only suffer from their racially bad looks when dealing with members of their own species, right?

You're mixing default GURPS assumptions with Dungeon Fantasy. A supplement like GURPS Space typically breaks down attractiveness by race for reasons of scientific plausibility. DF only cares about how things affect gameplay. Attractiveness matters for anything with vaguely human-like tastes.

And then there's something I didn't think of before, I can't be sure but applying Universal may mean it's not sexual attractiveness |

I thought that was the Impressive (+0%) modifier, not Universal. Same price and reaction adjustments, though.

Universal means your Appearance effects people who aren't normally effected by the physical Appearance of your race, that DOES sound like it could well be non-sexual
