Discarding cards while using Race/Class abilities

While using abilities of class cards like Cleric that don't specific about "in your hand" cards that must be discarded for using this ability, can player discard that Cleric card itself for gaining bonus, or that discarded card wouldn't count cause of losing ability due discarding card? And can be discarded other active Race/Class/Supermunchkin/Half-Breed? And if Class/Race have Modifier card on it like Elder or Dark, can it be discarded for using ability too, but not discarding Race/Class card? And can be discarded item modifiers cards like Cheat! or for Example "...of Doom" (from Unnatural Axe) for ability but not discarding Item which Item modifier is belongs on that moment?

In general, you can't discard in-play character stat cards, like Class or Race, to power the abilities of that Class or Race. This is because as soon as you discard the card, you no longer have the abilities on it. This does not mean that the bonuses you may have gotten from previous discards go away, but it does mean that you can't use the ability anymore.

As long as the ability does not specify, you can discard in-play and hand cards to power a Race/Class ability, so any card that isn't the Race or Class card in question can be discarded (unless the card says otherwise) to power the ability you want to use. What the consequences of that may be are too many and varied for me to go into detail, or to provide a generic answer. If you have a specific combination of events you want me to rule on, please feel free to describe it.

For the cleric Ressurecion ability does it matter which cards you discard or do you have to discard the specific card you are drawing (i.e. Discard door cards for door cards and treasure cards for treasure cards)?

You have to discard a card from your hand. That's the only stipulation on the card and there is not further clarification or requirement presented in the rules. It does not matter what kind of card it is, front or back, just so long as it comes from your hand.
