About Vampire Space monster (Star Munchkin)

The monster card says: any player can ruled for help to the Vampire Space. The Vampire Space wins +2 for each discarded card.

So my question is: All the cards? from hand and table? from all players? or there are a limit.

For example: I fight vs the Vampire Space and we are 5 players in the game.
Each player has 4 cards in their hand....so would have 16 cards in total.

16 x 2 points would be 32 points for up the monster. This is valid?

Or is only 1 card from each player? Cause if not there are limit the monster could be with strong almost infinity.
