thanks, those will all work great for starting points as far as worlds go. As for stuff to bring back to Prime,I'm thinking of copies of different versions of key documents ( US constitution etc), art work and things like that.

If you don't mind adapting them for GURPS use, there are timelines over on Alternatehistory.com that you could use for your purposes. In particular take a look at the finished timeline section.
