Character Sex

Card art rarely has any effect on game play, and this is not an exception to that statement. Character sex, by rule, is the same sex as the character until changed by a Curse or Bad Stuff. Class and Race cards are not restricted to who can play them based on their art, nor do they change the character's sex.

Without going to far into discussion that's outside of the Munchkin 101 forum's domain: You're welcome to do things differently if that's problematic for your group, but rules, as written, are as I described above.
