To me, the wording loosely implies that the coffee is a permanent +2 bonus, at least until you drink it all up. Then again, because the coffee is referenced in the second sentence fragment while the card is not, "it" could be referring to the card. I'll let Andrew have the final word on that one, since he should have a better idea on what the intent was, rather than me parsing a complicated sentence and handing out free grammar lessons when I'm not an English teacher nor a former one.
