The other day I saw someone's blog or something and what the guy was doing was using a random Wikipedia article as an element in his roleplaying game. Now I can't find that page or who was doing it. Does anyone know who that was?

Hmm... That's interesting, but it was maybe some guy's blog on a gaming site. So for instance, I take 3 random articles from Wikipedia:
Number one hits of 2011 (Switzerland) Virginia's 17th Congressional District Tullio Regge So, maybe some theory advanced by theoretical physicist Tullio Regge leads to a time machine used to transport the Black-Eyed Peas to the year 1843. So, something bizarre like that. Anyway, I can't find the guy's page.

Jürgen Hubert set up something very like that for his Arcana Wiki site. It's more limited than a random plot element generator accessing the whole of the Wikipedia, but it can still come up with some fun stuff:
Random Adventure Seeds (Which reminds me, I really ought to write up some more stuff for the Arcana Wiki)
