Situation:
-Player X kicks open a door. -The door is a monster. -Player Y plays "annihilation" to cancel the monster. -Player X plays "restraining order" on Player Y to avoid "anihilation". Which is the final situation? -Does "annihilation" cancel the monster? or, -Does "resstraining order" cancel "annihilation"? In my opinion, "restraining order" cancels "annihilation" because "restraining order" is the final card played. Am I right? Thanks! |

Restraining Order doesn't say anywhere that it cancels cards, only that they must be returned to their owners' hands. This cancels the effect in case of a one-shot or monster enhancer, but Annihilation is a little different. I believe If the cards were played in this order, Player Y would get Annihilation back into their hand, and the monster would remain Annihilated. However, on the plus side, Player X could then wander in a Monster, and player Y would be unable to do anything about it.
