To some extent it depends on what you think a "martial art" is. If you allow Intimidation into one, then Sex Appeal doesn't look so ridiculous. Is a weapon a tool for killing an opponent, or a tool for getting him to stop doing something you dislike (which being dead does, but other things can to)?

Sounds like you might have a very limited and kind of depressingly-tasteless body of experiences witnessing the use of Sex Appeal. If all those words mean to you is twerking, I very highly recommend getting out more. ;]
That was my primary intent in including it, along with the idea that certain schools of Elvish thought might be completist enough to want to include every aspect of dance into a martial art based on it. |

Generally true. But not all skills in a martial art have to be combat-applicable, although I'm sure some folks house-rule to the contrary.
