I found an old discussion about this card, but there is no clear official answer (or I just could not go through a lot of English words) and it is very old debate.

So, how it works?

1. I can discard 1 or 2 or 3 cards once to get +1 or +3 or +5, according.
2. I can discard 1 card once, 2 cards once and 3 cards once (in any order) for a total bonus +9 maximum .
3. I can discard 1, 2 or 3 cards in any order as many times as I have cards and get each time appropriate bonus.
4. I can discard 1 card to get +1, then discard second card to get +3 total, then discard third card to get +5 total.
