I have a player in my group who believes that because the Dwarf race card says you can have any number of big items that he can literally carry an unlimited number of big items, whether normally able to use them or not. For example, he believes you can use 8 hands worth of weapons if they all say "Big" or 7 Headgears (just an example) if they are all "Big". Basically as though being a Dwarf is like the ultimate Cheat card. Is this the case?

Nothing about the Dwarf says you can use the Big Items even if you normally couldn't (e.g., being a Dwarf doesn't give you some outrageous number of Hands), so it's not some super-powered Cheat card. The card says you can carry any number of Big Items, and the rules explain that the term carry means to have in play, but does not mean you are using the Item.
So, short answer: Your friend is wrong, wrong, wrong. |
