Slam rules are funny in that way. In RL, I wouldn't expect anyone to stay up after a slam from even even a small rhino.

Just because it's huge doesn't mean every hit is a solid one. If it doesn't do much damage and the target makes their DX roll, they just got bruised and maybe did a 360 in place as it brushed past them.
