Where do Steeds get discarded?

When a card printed to be a steed is discarded, does it go with the Door discards or the Treasure discards? Does a monster turned into a steed be means of a Ranger go with the Door discards?

Cards always get discarded based on their back and color scheme. Just because a Steed represents an Item on the front doesn't change that it's a Door card.
