If anyone who maintains a repository of GURPS material on-line, in some place where players are likely to find it, wishes to put up a copy of this game aid on their site, that is fine with me. If you do so, would you please post an announcement in the forums, for example with a post in this thread.

GURPS Space is a trademark of Steve Jackson Games, and its rules and art are copyrighted by Steve Jackson Games. All rights are reserved by Steve Jackson Games. This game aid is the original creation of Brett Evill and is released for free distribution, and not for resale, under the permissions granted in the Steve Jackson Games Online Policy.
It has been some years now since I used this spreadsheet myself, and I no longer remember the details of how all the bits were supposed to work. That, combined with the eccentric choice to build it as a spreadsheet rather than code it in a proper programming language, has made it insanely difficult to maintain it and to correct errors. I no longer undertake to do so. And what I won't maintain, I oughtn't to distribute.

The site <wabcag.wikidot.com> from which this workbook was formerly available was a wiki for keep notes on a campaign that I was running back in 2009, now long since defunct. Last month I took the wiki down so that I can use my free hosting allowance at wikidot for other purposes. The site no longer exists.

Nevertheless, it remains the case that the workbook I produced is for free distribution. Those were the terms of the SJ Games on-line policy under which I was allowed to create it, so those are the terms on which it exists and you who have copies have them. So if you have a copy and want to pass on a copy to another GURPS fan, or if you want to put a copy up on a fan site for free, non-commercial download, that is perfectly alright. If you do those things, it would be best if you could get beta 23, the last release.

But it would be better still if somebody sane and competent coded an instance of the GURPS Space star system generation sequence in a proper programming language.
