How do I make a magic ring

I know I want the ring to be DR with the force field modifier, but how do I put this on an item, specifically a ring?

You build an Advantage that does the job, and then apply Gadget modifiers to it. I haven't done this very much, but that's the basic idea.

I wanted to do it as gear, or at least set the CP to nothing because it was gained as loot.

There's not really an Enchantment that works that way. What about just adding it as _New Armor?
