I thought I took a long time taking 8 years for my four-year degree. :)

I finally got bored of living like a student so I graduated with what I had. A German degree which led to a full-time programming job, by way of some Latin courses I took.

My father had a classmate at the University of London Medical School who took 26 years to get a six-year double bachelor's. Joined the school in September 1913 and graduated in July 1939. (He did suspend his studies for four years to fight in WWI.)
