Still, I don't have low tech... But I think that I will put my hand on the right book at some point. I try to pace my SJG product ;)

Are there a lot of people using Low-tech as alternate hit locations?

I'm a little confused. Where are you getting the Abdomen and sublocations from?

I don't know about anybody else, but you kind of have to for a lot of realistic armor constructions.

Around the table, we use the cheat sheet posted on this forum by Onkl. I didn't realize that some of this material came from a Low-tech manual. I own L-T Economics, but not the others. That cheat sheet was our main source to lay things out.

The Abdomen sublocation table is from Instant Armor.

Thanks, my players are getting more and more into combat. These sounds like good future additions. I'll certainly add to the app when I own and use the material.

Low-Tech armor sub-location are still not in, but we've added face sub-locations from here as an option.

The app's URL is in the signature below.

It is now!

I took the liberty to make armor sublocations also targettable. -3 for Forearms, Upper Arms, Shins, Thighs, and the actual limb joint penalty of -5 for Knees and Elbows.

With the face sublocations implemented as well (but optional), that leaves very few Hit locations turning out to be boring.

From the usage logs, it looks like a few GM groups are using it every day: good to know that some find it useful.

We also have a page that shows the most used target locations and damage type here.

Quick link to the Hit Locator

The next thing to add is a pre-rolled critical that works for the location.

I have a feeling that the stats could be broken by people testing it. People like me for instance, used it in one game, but tested 4 times outside the game.
