Thanks, guys! We wanted to be as upfront and open about the upcoming changes -- and why we are making the changes -- as possible. I'm happy to see that everyone understands why we have to tweak the components.
And yeah, that $24.95 price point will remain as long as we can make the numbers work. Fingers crossed that costs don't continue to rise as they have been for the last three or four years.

Hopefully it won't mean that SJGames will be reverting back to the old box dividers? I rather like the 4 sections.

You know... Last time I was in Target, I saw an original Munchkin "marked down" from $29.99 to $19.99

Target occasionally does temporary price cuts, either in one store because of oversupply, or across the board as a short-term incentivizing measure. It's not especially noteworthy.

They had their price tag covering the one printed on the box.

Nothing requires stores to charge the printed price. Charging over that happen with Magic products all the time. It's frowned upon by us consumers, but is still at the discretion of the retailers. There's a store near me that usually charges under the printed price on games, it's quite nice :)
