Hey guys
We had a debate over this need your opinions here : One of the players was in a fight for the win, in that fight there was a monster with an enhancer and options thrown on it. When we failed to make that player loose, one of the other players used the transferral potion on the fight to transfer this monster to himself instead! Now here is the tricky part the new player has the Rain Coat equippted!, will the potions be transferred to the new fight along with the monster and the enhancers or is he protected from those potions even if they were not used while the coat was there?!?! Help please |

Given that player in combat (and his helper, which he would not have yet) can use potions in the combat, remove all the potions used in the combat except ones the new player in combat already played, for either side.

Thanks man, but the original and transferred fights had no helpers, to make it simple do potions played on the original fight transfer to the second fight?
If yes, in the second fight (transferred fight) with the player equppited with rain coat what happens? SM |

That makes sense. But would the removed potions go back to their owners or get discarded?

I think I remember rulings that state all one-shots on the munchkin side are removed (by discarding) from the combat regardless of who the new combat owner is as only the monster side is transferred. I can't search right now to confirm, but will later if somebody else can't find it first.

Yep, no problem there. And now that I'm at a PC and able search, I know why it seemed so familiar... It was the subject of my very first post on the forums!
And here's where the discarding Munchkin-side Items concept was explicitly ruled upon, just for completeness: Quote:
