I don't see why an AI couldn't be interested in sex, and I have assumed that some are. Sure, they don't reproduce (that way, anyway!) and they don't have the physiological reward mechanism. But they do interact with humans, and presumably some of them find such interaction rewarding in some degree; and sex is a mode of social interaction.

In canon, Charlie Sparrowhawk in Deep Beyond seems pretty clearly motivated that way.
