I was getting bored with the very seventies looks of Traveller megarcorps logos... So I went ahead and redraw some. As always, more to follow (that is unless I get bored or sidetracked, but that so not me!)

I like those. Especially the SuSag one (I didn't actually notice the S shape until you pointed it out!).
You could always try the "Apple" approach, which you sorta did with SuSag, and go for a symbol with no text. Apple's aim with that was to just have a symbol that everyone would recognise and know what it was - I presume that a huge sector or imperium-wide corporation would probably want that too.

Those are nice.
As for 'boring', think 'clean design'. I recently got around to watching the surprisingly interesting documentary "Helvetica", about the development and use of the font. It explains the difference between the two :) |

Yeah "clean" that's what I meant! I kind of wanted GP and LSP logos to be generic to go with those do-it-all behemoths...

Er, not what I meant. I meant that these companies would be like that. So you could just come up with a symbol without text for them that everyone in the Imperium would recognise as being that company (e.g. GP and LSP would probably be so widespread that they wouldn't need to use text in their logos).

I read you. But I think you have to strike a balance between in-game and out-game. If a given logo is recognized by 90% of imperial citizens, the characters (some of them at least) should recognize it too... Either I make it readable enough for the player to recognized it, either the GM will have to tell them "and by the way this is the logo of XYZ megacor and you all know it" which might somewhat break the mood...
