Default Converting Naruto d20 to GURPS

A fairly comprehensive Naruto RPG has been made out of the d20 Modern SRD. Has anyone tried converting it to GURPS?

I haven't played with the original game or my attempts at conversion, but it seems to work reasonably well:
  • +2 d20 skill = +1 GURPS skill, with base GURPS skill at 10*
  • +4 d20 stat = +1 GURPS stat, with base stats at 10 (since +2 d20 stat = +1 d20 skill)*
  • Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and Fuuinjutsu are colleges of Ritual Magery, with Chakra Theory as the core skill
  • Nin-/gen-/fuuinjutsu techniques are Hard ritual spells, with default to college skill = (10 - Perform DC) / 2, rounding against the player
  • Taijutsu --> Karate (Other skills map across pretty well, too.)
*Round 0.25 down and 0.75 up. Keep track of left-over half-points, and shuffle around any leftovers, but still round down when you're done.

Here's Aburame Shino, based primarily on his Naruto d20 writeup (some of the original material is in italics, next to what it influenced), but also on some Naruto Wiki stuff:

Evern for Shino just out of the Academy your stats are probably low. Even Genin Ninja have a high level of ability with Knife and Shuriken Throwing by any normal setting's standards as just one example. DX 11 jsut isn't goign to cut it.

Also, I really do get the idea that Hidden Leaf children learn to leap before they can walk. I doubt anything but Super Jump would cover even Genin ablity as seen on the TV shows.

I'd think Powers would cover this better than any sort of Ritual Magic. If you do give shinobi some sort of ER to represent their chakra it's going to be uniformly large and go up, up and up.

Oh, that's right--I forgot how weird d20 was about "Weapons Proficiency"... (Though Shino doesn't do much shuriken-throwing, to be honest.)

Strangely enough, though, Naruto d20 doesn't give Shino any skill in the Jumping Technique!

Toa Kraka, I doubt you can convert D20 to GURPS directly. D20 is linear and GURPS has the infamous bell curve. I think the best bet is to compare how the D20 character stands against the norm in that system and guestimate from there. Since there are so many adventures and settings set for D20 it would be nice to have a reliable conversion formula but there're too many things - like weapon proficiencies and Advantages - that prevent it. Which is why I think winging it is the only way.

Well, I was just wondering whether anyone would be interested in the existence of Naruto d20 as a base for expansion, since there've been other threads about GURPS Naruto, and none of them mentioned this system, to my memory.

Yeah I just prefer to convert from the Source.
Its easier unless a RPG provides more info.
