I know this has been discussed before, but my search-fu has failed me.
I'm making a character who is asexual due to psychological trauma and romantic advances simply don't work. Normally I'd call it sexual orientation and the canonical 0-point feature, but it also means they resist advances by both genders. I would just call the character Neuter, Sexless or Eunuch except that they're physically fully functional but they have a total lack of sex drive. I'm tempted to call it either a named 0-point feature on the character sheet with the argument the negative and positive balance themselves, a Quirk in that it does limit gameplay options or even a Perk in that they're all but immune to seduction. Of course it could be all three depending on how they're played, too.

I'd say that's a perk. Mostly because being immune to sex appeal doesn't _actually_ preclude faking interest with an acting roll or a sex appeal roll of your own

It sounds like a limited form of indomitable. No sex drive does not necessarily mean unwilling to give it a go for the right person or reason.
Though trauma could involve a phobia of sex and sexual situations. Couple that with a quirk level OPH depending on setting for prude, or bonus reputation even for obviously chaste.

I thought it was Asexualism.
No desire of sex. Would find sexual encounters difficult, would not respond to flirting, cannot be arroused sexually. They can 'snog' but there is nothing after that. In a nut shell, they won't avoid situations, they feel awkward when situations arise but do not seek any sex relationships. They can love people. I suppose it's a nuanced form of celibacy? |

Pure asexuality is almost certainly exceedingly rare. Mental only or physical only asexuality is more likely, I would imagine.
Participating in something very enjoyable for your partner can make it enjoyable for you. Many couples still have sex, even if one isn't in the mood. Not having an innate desire to do something doesn't make you immune to being convinced to engage in it.

Not without paying for such an immunity. If actual love doesn't make one immune, then I can't see how anything but a severe phobia can.

Such an Immunity is most likely a Perk, as mentioned above.

This doesn't follow. "Actual love" doesn't remove desire. And it's unlikely that humans are monogamous to the exclusion of all others anyway. That doesn't mean there can't exist a state where someone isn't interested and can't be manipulated sexually.

Depending on the campaign, I may charge more than a point for an immunity to a single influence skill. I've had it cost 2, 3, 5, and 6 points in campaigns so far (though the 6-point version also gave immunity to fright checks from certain sources and the 5-point version ended up feeling too expensive in that campaign).
