My friends and I were playing late Saturday night and we had a strange scenario come up. One of the players possessed the Magnificent Hat, and while we were in the Dungeon of Comprehensive Curses we were all pretty stumped as to how his Hat would apply. Would it be proper to ignore the Hats effect since everyone else is already getting hit when a curse is played, or would he dodge the curse and the group would roll to see who would get cursed twice?

My answer of course is not the official one, but I would think one person would have to roll to get cursed twice.

The Magnificent Hat does bounce the comprehensive curse. One unlucky sucker will get hit twice. Here's a post that shows that this is MunchkinMan's official position (and he has linked to this post in other threads).
