Obligatory warning: in real life (as in realistic games not using kayo) don't hit people on the back of the head where it joins the neck. Like, ever, unless you're actively trying to murder them, and I don't advocate homocide so don't do it then either.

Hitting someone in the brain stem and the top of the spine where the spinal chord joins the brain is a great way to make them fall down suddenly, but that's because you've caused a traumatic brain injury, and/or paralysis, and the likely outcome for them is very bad.
