[DF 1-3] Critique Five Pre-Gen Mass-Murdering Burglar Hobos

Saint? I have DF 1-4 and 8, though I've not read all of 4. I really like the idea of no magic and being easy to play, but I'm between jobs right now and don't think I should be buying books. Like I say, I'm only considering builds from 1-3. I searched for Saint in those PDFs and it came up with nothing.
