If thats the aim, switch the 8 points in Flail (which has a default to Axe/Mace at -4 already) for Broadsword, which gives decent defaults to nearly everything else but a spear.

Wait, I just read Weapon Master (p. B99) and it seems to indicate that the weapon classes are based on skill. So, if he has WM (Axe), which uses the axe/mace skill, that doesn't seem to transfer to WM (Greataxe), which uses two-handed axe/mace. Yes, no?

Nope, its by specific weapon in this case (hence the edit). Weapon Master (Single Weapon) [20] means a single named weapon. In this case "Axe". ie, the first weapon on the weapon table on Basic p.271
Weapon Master (Pickaxe Penchant) is probably 30 points, and would give you Weapon Master with everything Pickaxe Penchant gives a talent bonus to, weapon wise.

That "ST" in the first sentence -- you meant "DX," right? Great suggestions.

Nope, ST. She only needs to save 10 points, not 20, for more levels of the Forest Guardian talent. But see the other suggestions on the archer build, they have merit.

ST 12 for an elf female is quite high, though. I mean, her slender, petite frame is already deeply furrowed with sinews at that point, I'd think. Right?

At ST 12? No, I wouldnt think so. COULD be sure, but its really a role-playing decision. Mostly, you want an odd level of ST, because bows do thrust damage.
