The other day we came across a situation that was debated for a few minutes.
In this situation the item I had equipped could not be used by a bard. At the time I was a super warrior so it was legal. I received the bard class and wanted to play it because I had another item that is used only by a bard. If I became a super warrior bard could I use both items? I understand in the rules it says that a super class is not the same as a class, so super bards are not the same as regular bards. But what if you have two classes? We decided that I could not use the "not usable by bard" item if I became a bard warrior. What have you done in this situation? Were we right or could i have equipped both? Same question for races too. |

If you are a Super Munchkin with one class, you can ignore the disadvantages of that class (thus, something that "cannot be used by Bard" can be used by you, if you're only a Super Bard). If you add a second class, you have all of the advantages and disadvantages of both, so you can no longer use the "cannot be used by Bard" item.

Super Munchkin says you get the advantages and disadvantages of both classes. The inability to use an Item which says "not usable by X" is a disadvantage, so in your example, once you add Bard to Super Munchkin and Warrior, you can no longer use Items which say, "Not usable by Bard." If you want to use both the Bard Item and the other Item, you would have to discard the Warrior card so as to have a Super Bard.
