It seems to me that all of the Affliction (Alternate Form) builds in Powers are based on turning someone into a completely different creature (Frog, "To turn others into monsters..."), not just a modified version of their own form. For personal transformation, you could easily consider it Alternate Form (Fiery/shrunken/etc version of my normal form).

It probably isn't unbalancing on an Affliction, but it doesn't seem to be explicitly allowed. However, afflicting zero point features can get broken really quickly if it isn't applied carefully. Try Affliction 1 (Alternate Form: Vacuum native) [25] to give somebody a native pressure of 0.0001 atmospheres, and they must immediately roll against HT-997 and take damage equal to the margin of failure.
