Uploaded humans would still be limited by their "natural" intelligence, and handicaps from needing sleep, to getting bored, imperfect memory, etc.
A human level A.I. is vastly superior to an uploaded human.

My view: all those drawbacks are just human habits. An uploaded human still expects to forget things, to feel tired and sleep, to get bored faster than an SAI; eventually he'll grow out of those traits.

That goes against all that is known of human biology which is what is modeled so perfectly when uploaded.

Edit: perfectly ok for your games, but THS is geared as a more realistic setting than most Sci Fi.

TS already canonically includes modeling of brainbugs and other neurology-altering treatments in the same simulation spaces as Ghosts. This allows a gradual transition to virtual neurons that are maintained without sleep-like downtime, et al.

That really depends on what you consider sleep is and what it does. Since the real world hasn't answered that, I guess nearly any game answer is like another.
But by definition "uploaded" brains are virtual neurons.

Yes, and the virtual neurons are subject to modification so that needing sleep, getting bored, and imperfect memory are mitigated or eliminated.

Again that assumes sleep, boredom, and imperfect memory are fixable flaws rather than features inherent in earth type biology.
I don't believe that one can "fix" them without so modifying the digital biology as to be easier to just chuck the whole thing and start from scratch.
(This is my grandfather's axe. I've replaced the head twice, and the shaft five times, but it's still the same axe.) To use a metaphor.

That's what I thought the singularity meant. That everything human from bio-people to "uploaded" people will be vastly outpaced by pure A.I. program entities. What we create will become like gods to that which descends from us.
