For what is worth, what I like is Fantasy in a broader sense, and at this point I'm not going to run DF games or adventures (*) —even if this adventure seems a pretty good one (I'm still reading it): all in all, I picked the Mirror of the Fire Demon because I'm interested into studying its structure:

. . .There is a number of DF rules and concepts that —to my mind, and with some tweaking— are useful for more serious genres and less straitjacketed ways of role playing, and perhaps that is also partly true in this adventure module.

(*) My initial enthusiasm for the DF line has been declining in favor of the "usual" non-DF GURPS approach.
