Incidentally, I'm hoping the supplement is something radically different from post-apoc. It's too near to Action and MH, almost their nexus. But it is a likely interpretation.

You must have missed some of his other hints - I don't remember them exactly, but they were very clear about it being a post-apocalypse game. I'm pretty sure there were several references to Mad Max, for example.
