Based off this thread, I've decided to make a few new armor modifiers available to my players (assuming they can find a craftsman that can do the work).
Fine(Edge Protection: Impaling) +3 CF Fine(Edge Protection: Piercing) +3 CF Fine(Edge Protection: All) +5CF Fine(Hardened 1: Arrows Only) +0.5 CF Fine(Hardened 1: Single damage Type) +1 CF Fine(Hardened 1) +4 CF On a slight side note, if you use the bow values from The Deadly Spring, a Heroic Archer is only slightly faster than a Musketeer (Pyramid 3/36) with 4 levels of Rapid reload from Gun Fu, and does less damage per shot. |

"On a slight note, if you use the harshly realistic rules from The Deadly Spring, Warrior A (even with Heroic Archer) is only sightly faster than Warrior B bedecked in as many cinematic speeding-upping options as can be found, and does less damage per shot." Sorry, it struck me as an amusing comparison. Yes, if one side gets a mix of harsh realism and cinematism, and the other side gets just cool cinematic stuff, it tends to come out in favour of the cool cinematic stuff ;)

Edit: Both of them are using realistic weapons, the guns from Musketeer seem to jive with the muskets from High Tech. Last edited by Tyneras; 10-28-2011 at 02:29 PM. |
