clerics - no limit on discards to get health?

sorry - new to this and I posted a MQ question in a Card Games Forum but do not know how to move it.

munchkin quest: I saw this unoffiicially answered saying a cleric could discard over and over again to regain health. As many times as needed - even in one turn -as long as they have cards to discard.

Is this right? Thats how I read the rules but I got strong opposition to this view. Some think I can only do this once per turn but I see no rule stating that. The previous unoffical answer I saw agrees with me.
