is it possible for a piece of clarification? is the bestials being hunted by the main party the same as the one by Keirnan? or were they different directions?

I think the answer is Crystal Maw and Mind the Merciful Dominater of Worlds.

Welcome back. I love the post wither it be because of or in spite of your addled wits.

Let me know when Rorik gets undrneath the beastial. Also can Rorik reach it's heart or throat with his spear?

Sorry for not being explicit -- yeah, the Bestial really is spaced out and not taking any notice of you. Since he's squatting on a branch just at your head level, I'd say you can hit him wherever you like with your weapon. I'd feel a bit cheap even asking for a roll on it -- he's your basic sitting duck at this point.

There isn't anything else apparent in the immediate area, so call your action whenever you're ready.

I should have been earlier with this, but that damn RL is still acting up. Wish I could give it up...

Anyway, as fun as leading you all on a wild goose chase might be, I can't in good conscience do that. There are 8 or 9 people around who can see as well as in daylight (don't forget you still have the Nightfall group with you), so a mistake as egregious as Rorik's would be corrected long before you stray too far into the ozone.

RL is settling down a little... but promises to get worse again this summer :D

Again, it can be hard to tell when I should interrupt. If you folks feel you need anything from me, don't hesitate to prompt me for it.

I think here I'm waiting on Jmurrell to enter the hidey hole before I cast my magic and get a move on. Sound about right to everyone else? Well that or for his character to do something else.

Alas, it's been since before we entered the swamp that we last heard from John Kenner; I fear we must presume he's been swallowed up.

There is also the Nightfall group, which at least I keep forgetting about. They are presumably still with you and will follow along until a large brouhaha. They will follow your lead and assist in the rescue operation -- for now, we can say that they have entered the hidey hole with varying degrees of trepidation.

Keeping in mind that the captives are rather heavy and not currently able to assist in the operation, let's say you've just begun the process and four of them are currently inside the hidey hole. The entrance is big enough to roll the wagon through at least, so getting in & out of it is no real challenge.
