Thing is, the ability works by targeting an item, that then glows brightly. And well, I consider this method to be the last recourse, for when you can not get the right effect with advantages, as it tends to feel cheap...

Well, I'd been hoping to nail down a few of the other open items here before I moved on, particularly the Vargouille, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen.

Korvus is, I believe, the next creature on the docket. Unfortunately, my free time has been severely curtailed of late, and likely will continue to be so for a few weeks, so it may be a while before he's forthcoming.

Tangentially, I've been running occasional "trial combats" with my player so we can both get a feel for how his character / my opponents fare in a combat situation, and so that we can test out some house rules (hit location and damage, principally). And man, if I've learned one thing, it's that this guy can make a combat machine.
