Okay--
Byakugan. 245 points.
A little munchkinny--I added the Colorblindness to the most valuable advantage. Thanks! So the "colors" seen from Detect Chakra are really just a visual interpretation of "Analyzing"--i.e., "This is one kind of chakra (which I'll call yellow), and this is another kind of chakra (which I'll call red), even though this sense isn't vision and doesn't have the same colors as electromagnetic sight." No, it's -10 (B127).
Oh, that's right--I forgot that GURPS's Detect is switchable... Byakugan. 238 points.

After a few months of off-and-on tinkering (though I've been focusing on statting up Nara Shikamaru):
Byakugan, White Eyes (Alternative Ability, ×1/5): 360° Vision (Chakra-Based, -5%; Link, +10%; Panoptic 1, +20%) [32] + Acute Vision 4 (Chakra-Based, -5%; Link, +10%) [9] + Dark Vision (Chakra-Based, -5%; Link, +10%) [27] + Detect Chakra (Analyzing, +100%; Chakra-Based, -5%; Link, +10%; Precise, +100%; Reduced Time 1, +20%; Vision-Based, -20%) [92] + Penetrating Vision 4 (Blockable, Concentrated chakra, -10%; Chakra-Based, -5%; Costs Chakra, 1/minute, -5%; Link, +10%; Temporary Disadvantage, Colorblindness, -10%; Visible, -10%) [28] + See Invisible (Chakra-Based, -5%; Link, +10%; True Sight, +50%) [24] + Telescopic Vision 4 (Chakra-Based, -5%; Link, +10%; No Targeting, -60%) [9]. 45 points. Long-Range Byakugan: 360° Vision (Chakra-Based, -5%; Link, +10%; Panoptic 1, +20%) [32] + Acute Vision 8 (Chakra-Based, -5%; Link, +10%) [17] + Dark Vision (Chakra-Based, -5%; Link, +10%) [27] + Detect Chakra (Analyzing, +100%; Chakra-Based, -5%; Link, +10%; Precise, +100%; Reduced Time 1, +20%; Vision-Based, -20%) [92] + Penetrating Vision 8 (Blockable, Concentrated chakra, -10%; Chakra-Based, -5%; Costs Chakra, 1/minute, -5%; Link, +10%; Requires Concentrate, -15%; Temporary Disadvantage, Colorblindness, -10%; Visible, 10%) [44] + See Invisible (Chakra-Based, -5%; Link,+10%; True Sight, +50%) [24] + Telescopic Vision 8 (Chakra-Based, -5%; Link, +10%; No Targeting, -60%) [18]. 254 points. Would it be reasonable to add Breakable, Can Be Stolen, and possibly Unique? Byakugan eyes match all the text on B116-7: they're powerful, not for sale, and absolutely irreproducible, but they can be transplanted from an unwilling donor. Breakable, -20% (eyeball: DR 0, -9 location penalty) Can Be Stolen, -5% (you need to knock out the target and get a medic-nin to transplant the eye) Unique, -25% (you can't replace it unless you kill another member of your own clan--or take the eye back!) Quote:
Powers that come from a body part dont count as gadgets. Having your eyes cut out would deprive you of your powers but well losing an eye is pretty bad and unlikely in normal play. Making them a gadget is basically inviting them to be cut out. Use Vision based for some of the powers that are not already. |

In-universe, it's actually a pretty likely occurrence: one character has been the target of two kidnapping attempts for her Byakugan eyes (at ages 3 and 12), and there are many cases of eye-based abilities being transplanted (Ao's Byakugan, Kakashi's Sharingan, Sasuke's Sharingan, Danzou's Sharingan, Tobi's Sharingan and Rinnegan...).

Yes but "forcibly removed" is for suits of armor. Something that has to be removed by surgery whether it be cyberware or mutant body part doesn't qualify for any "can be removed" Limit.

The removal doesn't need surgery, only the implantation--a mook could knock you out, rip out your eyes (carefully), stick them in a jar, and keep them on a shelf until he found a medic-nin to perform the surgery.
