The scenario is flawed from the start; player A cannot bring a helper into a fight that player A is currently winning. That said, if player B is helping in a fight, player B is still free to add monsters, buff up monsters that are already there, and otherwise make life difficult for the about-to-win player A. Player B cannot unilaterally choose to Run Away, however; that choice is player A's only.
