Making your own Munchkin game.

Is anyone here experienced in making your own game?
I'm thinking about using the blank Munchkin Fu cards, due to their blank white space which wouldn't interfere with color schemes. The only problem is the backs of them. Is there a simple way to cover it up or alter it? What about card text? Handwritten or printed some how?
Any answers are greatly appreciated!
