Patience Carlos. I already sent something related to this for the DF issue. I'm still waiting for Steven's repply on it though

Along with the new Mystic Knight Power, I think, IMHO, that they should have Extra Attack 1 [25], just like Holy Warriors in their Power-ups. I really missed that in their power-ups. And I'm not sure if this is the right thread to mention that but I think that just like Holy Warriors, they should have Striking ST 2 in their template as options for then to spend their 51 extra points. |

The justiciar and mystic knight won't become supported elements of DF until we can find an excuse to publish them in a DF product. At that point, things like power-ups and general recognition in the series would become possibilities. At the moment, though, Pyramid content for DF is essentially "What if?" in character. That isn't out of some evil desire to exclude anyone or anything, but because sensible sales practices dictate that series actually look like series. In effect, DF and Pyramid are two different series.
The mystic knight has the additional issue of needing Power-Ups 1 to make sense, where policy for DF is not to require books other than the Basic Set and Magic. Whether we'll ever publish a cut-down version of the Imbuements rules under the DF aegis remains to be seen. If we do, then certainly, the mystic knight will be in it.

You could use the Justiciar in an "Urban Adventures" supplement for Dungeon Fantasy adventures set in city locations.

And you've done a great job! I just loved the Mystic Knight, specially because they fit the "Warrior with magic" archetype that always looked undoable. And I'm sure that many others have enjoyed your work. Last edited by Carlos; 05-24-2011 at 06:13 PM. |

Well... Since Mystic Knight and Justiciar came both from Pyramid Magazine, what are the chances of a Pyramid article (instead of a full DF book) with their new power-ups (in the same spirit of DF 11) to be published? Can we have any hope on that? |
