Default Ended up with an older printing

Today I went ahead and invested in Munchkin Booty (in honor of tomorrow's Doctor Who and the upcoming PotC movie). I also nabbed (pillaged?) Jump the Shark, and Fish and Ships.

Turns out my copy of Jump the Shark is a 1st edition, 1st Printing, from sometime in 2008. Are there any major issues I should be aware of before playing with these cards? About the only thing I spotted was Monster Enhancers said something to the effect of "+10 to Level of Monster", which i know is older wording (and I know what the intent is). Are there any other big big differences I should know of?

Same here Jivjov... i did the same thing except i bought two one for me and one as a gift!

I also bought 1 set of Fantasy and Star, all 6 figures and Players handbook for 40 bucks on ebay!!! The fantasy i cant tell what edition it is. All i can find is on the rules it says ©2001 & rules 1.02. I was wondering what edition that fantasy set was.

The GUAL page lists the cards that were altered in each set. For JtS, besides the monster enhancers, only Super Munchkin and Cheat cards seemed to have been altered. I believe you will be more than ok =)

Didn't even think to check that page! Alrighty, thanks so much! Still gonna wait for an "official ruling" in case there's something devious we're missing, but this looks promising!

1st. There's only been one edition of Munchkin, and that's the 1st edition. What printing, however, is a different question, and one which can not be answered easily given the information you have provided.

Ok thats what i meant "what printing" since right now we are on the 1st edition 20th printing. What information would i be looking for to discern which one it is. In the FAQ it does talk about the info on the loaded die that if it reads a certain way then it would be the 1st printing.

The rules version puts it beyond 1st printing. I don't even have anything documenting those changes, but I know I was involved with helping to improve the rules for 1.01 and 1.02, so we're talking, earliest, late 2002, but I'm thinking more along the lines of 2004. However, I feel that the rules sat at 1.02 for a long while. . . Someone with better access to documentation might be able to pin the history down better.
