Heh. Given the posted character's weapon skills are in the 11-13 range, Move 6, you're in Dodge/Parry/Block 10 range. If the game's to be combat heavy, between one blow in two and one in four will strike home. I'd invest in that armor. Maybe go for a good set of spears, and a cheap weapon you can use with Broadsword skill (like a club. No, really). The armor will keep you alive, your spears will keep the enemy impaled and at bay at Reach 2 or 3. Kill enough people or whatever, and you can afford a sword. But you're really talking "how much armor shall I forgo in order to eke out a swing/cut weapon instead of thrust/impale."
