My friends and I were playing Star Munchkin, and my friend had what I believe was the Bobaser. Mainly it was a weapon that let you add on as many laser weapons into a single two handed weapon. They added a few of them to it, so it was giving them a +13 to combat off of a single weapon. A curse came up and said to take their highest powered item, and they would then get value as a negative. They could only stop it by losing two levels.
At that point they decided to disassemble it to a its separate parts, so that the +5 weapon they had attached to it was the only thing that was affected. Is this what they are allowed to do, or should the whole stack of phasers that were combined to be a single weapon should have been cursed? |

Any -aser can be joined with any other -aser, to make a new weapon, but this does not make the joined weapon an Item. So, every -aser is still an independent Item. This means that Bad Stuff, Curses, and other effects that would take an Item can only be used to affect one piece of the -aser array.
