Investigating the supernatural in post-war America (1946).

The Special Pathogens Branch of the CDC has formed a handful of Emergency Containment and Treatment Response Elements to deal with unusual outbreaks. You will be the members of one such element.

This campaign will focus on investigation more than combat. Call it three cups Mysteries, 1 cup Horror, and half a cup each of Action and Monster Hunters.

Your characters are all connected to the military or the Federal government. They have all recently survived an encounter with the supernatural. For example: a Marine who fought worse things than the Japanese in the depths of an island cave complex; or a paratrooper fighting werewolves in Germany (Werwolf wasn’t just a code name!); or an FBI agent dealing with a Voudon murder in New Orleans.

I will be making two major posts a week, but am usually online once a day. The first will be on Monday and the second either Thursday afternoon or Friday morning. Therefore I would like to have your posts in by 0600 Monday and 1200 Thursday. I am in the US Eastern time zone which is currently GMT -4. Which I believe puts the times at 1000 GMT on Mondays and 1600 GMT on Thursdays.

Dialogue should be set off with a header containing the name of the character in bold (and who he is speaking to in parentheses with any comments).

Speech should be block indented following the header. You may use either a specific color or italics as you choose.
