Grandfather Frost question

Grandfather Frost is a monster from the Waiting for Santa expansion. In his bad stuff, it says "Frostbite! You can only use 1 Hand's worth of items. A Wishing Ring can be used to remove this restriction." Does this restriction go away when a player dies?

Huh. Good question. It's a Bad Stuff that requires a Wishing Ring, so I'd imagine it counts as a good ol' fashioned persisting Curse. Therefore you'd keep it even after you died.

Since it doesn't say it DOES go away, it doesn't.
