I was reading the Rules PDF for the upcoming Cheat With Both Hands expansion, and under Deck Building, I noticed that apparently this set is intended primarily for use with multiple Munchkin sets, and if you don't have enough sets, you should leave out some of the Doors. Well, I currently only have Fantasy/Original Munchkin, but I have almost all of the expansions for it (2 thru 6, Marked for Death, Reloaded, both Xmas packs, Fairy Dust, Munchkinomicon, the W23 booster, bonus cards from the Boxes of Holding, and some promo cards).
Is this enough cards that I can go ahead and use the entire Doors deck from Cheat With Both Hands? Or should I still leave some out, since I have no other sets mixed in? Thanks! (Also...just out of curiosity, is there any specific day that W23 should get Cheat With Both Hands in stock? Right now it just says February) |

Yes, Cheat With Both Hands is a re-titled Munchkin Blender, whose main purpose was to aid in mixing genres.
Currently, Munchkin 1-4 and Munchkin 6 are printed in full color. Is this what you have? If so, (without Munchkin 6) that's 504 cards total, before adding in CWBH. If you have 3 core games without any expansions, that's interestingly enough, 504 cards. I would think that adding in CWBH with Munchkin 1-4 should be fine, but if you find it doesn't work, then you can consider pulling some cards out. And SJG doesn't give specific dates on releases. They used to a long time ago, and I can remember many times where that wouldn't work out as well as was liked. |

Yes, I have all of the numbered expansions (except 7, obviously, lol), so I think we'll be fine tossing CWBH in.
Thanks much for the reply! |

I was going to ask this in the chat tonight, but didn't get off work in time. I have an original Blender that I can use to blend other genres, but what I was curious about, is there enough cards in Fantasy 1-6 along with the Christmas boosters to have CWBH without any other sets?

Thanks. I was just worried about CWBH overpowering other cards like it mentions on the rules sheet if you are only using one set.

OTHER variants, meanwhile, either only have 1 expansion or no expansions, so CWBH would be quite unbalanced in those without blending together at least two.

I suddenly started doubting that I said basically the same thing in the beginning of the thread, and apparently I did. *phew* Thought I was going crazy for a moment.
