Can you play with multi cons? I haven't bought it yet, and I don't know the rules so I figured I'd ask.

Hmmm. If you don't mind duplicates of the Spells, I guess it would work. But, I'd suggest using only one Munchkinomicon card. I know I didn't try that during playtest. :-)

Curses! I ordered mine with the New Munchkin 7-CWBH. I must anticipate their arrival a bit longer it seems. Mayhaps I'll just head down to the FLGS and pickup an extra copy...for the gf of course

Can it be played with Munchkin Quest? It's described as playable "with all Munchkin games".

No. Munchkin Quest is its own beast, not compatible with the Munchkin games.

I'm going to say "no" here. My copy of the booster came in today, and the Summon the Book spell makes absolutely no sense unless you can cast spells without having the Munchkinomicon.

I understand your POV, but the english language would seem to infer that Munchkin Quest is a Munchkin game. Maybe "ANY Munchkin game (except Munchkin Quest games)" might be more clear to everybody?

I will say this: I have not tried Munchkinomicon with Munchkin Quest. It may work splendidly. However, it wasn't designed with MQ in mind, and I'm not going to warrant that they work together.

I'm not sure what to say about what you perceive as unclear wording, except that SJ Games has been consistent that Munchkin Quest is its own game, not intended to be compatible with the Munchkin card games although sharing much of the flavor. We figure that the different-sized cards should indicate that a Munchkin expansion isn't meant to be played with Quest, or vice versa.

Perhaps instead, just say compatible with all Munchkin card games.

Quest is decidedly a board game since, well, it has a board that is required to play as well as other needed bits like player tokens, gold pieces etc....not to mention "The Boardgame" is in its title lol
