Fire arms and cheat!

How would you quantify this? Fire Arms gives you a bonus based on the number of free hands, correct? You can have more than 2 free hands with some of the various items that can come into play. So if you were to cheat with Fire Arms, how many free hands would you claim? 1? Or 1,000,000+ and effectively become invincible?

I would tend to think that if you cheated Fire Arms you would only get the bonus for 1 free hand (assuming your other hands are full). Otherwise I don't see how you could control its usage.

Pretty sure that Kirt wasn't saying to put Cheat! on Fire Arms, but on an item so it didn't burn (heh heh) any Hand slots.

Using Cheat! on Fire Arms gives you absolutely no extra benefit, unless for some reason you're otherwise prevented from using a fire/flame Item, and therefore is a waste of a Cheat! card.

Yes, this is what I was trying to say. Cheating a weapon that requires hand slots means you get to use the maximum bonus from Fire Arms (+6, unless you have something that gives you more hands).

My point was that before, it was much harder to Cheat! a weapon and have Fire Arms in play at the same time than it is now that you are allowed to Cheat! a legal weapon.

makes no difference to me as I'm not allowed to cheat a legal weapon as I have an older printing.
