Actually, straight mirror parallels (with no discernable differance from Homeline other than the fact "it's in the past") have tons of valuable stuff.
Imagine plundering the cargo holds of the Titanic and the Lusitania before they sunk, or stealing weapons, ammo, and equipment from any number of Allied and Axis warships just before they are destroyed. In the case of the USS Cinncinati, that would be an atomic weapon..... Or pillage Alexandria before it's burned by *insert name here*. Drop into Constantinople just before the Turks capture it. The possibilities are endless.....

Yes, I think the I-Cops would get involved with that one because it could be a Homeline terrorist group trying to get a nuclear weapon.

... or a Homeline terrorist uses an a-bomb (they may well know exactly which one, if it was one detonated in our history), prompting the I-Cops to try to find out where they got it, and how to keep them from getting more.

Obsidian-5
Obsidian-5 is a Q7 parallel where the local year is 1492, but the history diverged so far in the past that none of its history overlaps that of Homeline. A TL4 world, the dominant cultures are two Native American cultures (one on the Amazon and one on the Mississippi), two African cultures (one on the Congo and one on the Nile), and two Asian cultures (one on the Indus and one on the Yellow River). While it is a low mana world, its wizards use threshold-limited magic that transcends the need for mana levels. Obsidian-5 is a weird parallel where adult humans turn into lifelike obsidian statues of their youth when they die (with details down to the cellular level being retained). The beauty of the statues is so great that there is a thriving black market for the obsidian statues, with graverobbers exchanging statues for local treasures in dozens of timelines. On worlds with mana, the obsidian statutes come to life for twenty-four hours on the anniversary of their death, when they possess the energy and passion of youth, before becoming obsidian again. Any person whom they make love to during that time will contract the condition that will cause them to become obsidian statues when they die if they die on a world with mana. If one of the statues suffers damage, it will heal one HP per day as long as it is within a mana area, and will even recover from complete destruction. The Cabal is obsessed with Obsidian-5, despite it being low mana world, because of the nature of the obsidian statues, though they must be careful because the threshold-limited wizards of Obsidian-5 are not dependent on mana for their magic. The obsidian statues represent a form of immortality and a number of Cabalists retire to Obsidian-5 to benefit from that immortality. Homeline is less thrilled with the timeline, as the obsidian statues represent an ongoing headache for it, especially since the condition is sexually transmitted. Considering the number of American and Soviet nuclear weapons that have been lost and were not recoverable there are easier ways to find a nuke.

Hmm, I wonder if producing copyrighted products in other worlds is a legal work around?

Or maybe it's that the works are already identical on the other world, but the copyrights expired. Maybe Star Wars flopped and so the copyright expired. If you bring it to homeline, you could point out that it's clearly not the same film and sell merchandise based off it. And yes, there would be a lawsuit, but by then you're on to your next scam.
